Allow AI data sharing?

To create and check a personal story and Parent Notes, Helpmiki sends your situation description, selected reading-age group, and relevant drafts to OpenRouter. OpenRouter routes the request to Microsoft Azure, which operates the OpenAI text-model endpoints currently used by Helpmiki. Optional narration sends story text through OpenRouter to Google Vertex to create audio.

What to leave out

Avoid real names, schools, addresses, diagnoses, or other identifying or sensitive details. Saved stories and notes may repeat information you provide.

How providers handle requests

Our server requests endpoints with no training on request content and OpenRouter Zero Data Retention routing. OpenRouter input/output logging is disabled. Providers may still keep technical records under their policies; this is not a promise that every record is immediately deleted.

Your choice

You can choose Not now and use features that do not require new AI processing. In the updated app, change your choice in Settings → Privacy & Data → AI data sharing. Permission covers new stories, Parent Notes retries, and requested narration for your account. Withdrawing permission stops new requests that rely on it; work you already requested may finish. Withdrawal does not delete saved content.

Helpmiki provides educational fictional stories, not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, assessment, or professional advice. Review every result before sharing it with a child.
